My scarf guide

If you’ve just started your love affair with the beautiful world of scarves, this post is for you!

If you know me at all, you are aware of my deep passion for scarves. They are versatile, forgiving, easy to manage and an overall joy to look at. But I don’t expect everyone to be as obsessed as I am, so here is a little guide for what I think are the essentials:

Where to start: the 90 x 90

If you have no scarves in your wardrobe, this is where I recommend you to start. The 90x90 dimension (36" x 36" for those of you who measure in inches) is the most versatile. It’s big enough to be voluminous and make an impact, but not so bulky that it’ll feel like you’re wearing a curtain around your neck.

Next step: a 70x70

When you’re ready to take the next step in your scarf relationship, my advice would be to invest in a 70x70 (27.5" x 27.5"). It’s slightly smaller, so great for achieving more delicate knots.

Add-ons for styling

Once you have your basics, is time to have fun with some rings, brooches and clips!
